We redeveloped the propoerty at 814 Ilaniwai Street in Kakaako. The idea for the WorkPlay development was to provide a way to showcase our design/build work to clients in a vibrant Pau Hana environment. The project is located on the ground floor of the Redmont offices and is centrally located in the ever-changing Kaka`ako area. The design merged many differing design themes into an eclectic and whimsical pattern. Many of the furnishings were directly imported from Asia to Hawaii, as other features were crafted by local artisan, including Jasper Wong.
The construction of this project was challenging due to the limited space and tight timeline of the project. However, opening day was a success with a line around the block.
